Auburn Dental is a proud member of the Veterans Administration (VA) community care network of providers. If you qualify for VA dental care and need complex restorative dental care, we would love to serve you. Our dentists at Auburn Dental hold decades of experience, as well as advanced training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
In-Network Restorative Dentistry
As a community care provider in the Veterans Administration (VA) network, we offer dental services that you may be able to receive at minimal out-of-pocket cost. Perhaps you need services that your local VA clinic doesn’t provide, such as complex restorative dental work. We provide a full range of restorative and cosmetic dentistry services, including dental implants and implant overdentures. If the dental care you need isn’t available at your local VA clinic, we’ll be happy to serve you. We will help you access your VA coverage for the services we provide.
How to Access Veterans Admin (VA) Dental Benefits
To access dental benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs (formerly known as the Veterans Administration), you first need to apply for VA health care. Based on several factors (such as your health status and service history), you will be placed in a benefits class which will determine your health care benefit eligibility and coverage. If you qualify for VA dental care, you will first visit your local VA dental clinic for an exam. When it comes to treatment, your VA clinic will be your initial provider and may refer you to a community care provider for certain services. If you are referred to a community care provider, you can call our office, and we’ll take care of you from there.

We Support Veterans
At Auburn Dental, we value patriotism and honor those who serve our country. We are located in Auburn, AL, just over 20 miles from the Central Alabama VA Medical Center in Tuskegee and less than 50 miles from Fort Benning.
Will the VA Pay for Full Dental Implants?
Some veterans qualify for VA coverage of any needed dental care, which may include dental implants if deemed necessary by your local VA clinic. Your VA dental care coverage depends on your benefits class, which is determined upon your application for health care. For further details, refer to www.va.gov/dental.
Does a 100% Disabled Veteran Get Free Dental Care?
According to the VA Dentistry website, a veteran with a 100% disabling service-connected disability may qualify for VA coverage of any needed dental care. If this is your situation, you will need to:
- Apply for VA health care online
- Verify your eligibility and coverage
- Visit your local VA dental clinic
- Receive treatment at the VA clinic or receive approval for accessing services at a community care provider (such as Auburn Dental)
